The Austin Human Resource Management Association (AHRMA) is a not-for-profit organization dedicated to the advancement of the human resource management profession. AHRMA is the local affiliate of the national Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM), the leading voice of the human resource management profession. AHRMA is one of Texas' largest and most dynamic SHRM-affiliated chapters, having received several awards, including SHRM's Superior Merit Award for outstanding chapter achievement. Established in 1950, the Association's membership now reaches almost 1000 individuals throughout the Greater Austin Metropolitan Area.
